In the Spring of 1866, Emma gave the original JST documents to a committee of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint (RLDS, now the Community of Christ). In 1867, the RLDS published the first version of the JST under the title The Holy Scriptures Translated and Corrected by the Spirit of Revelation.
